Things to Do
Whether you feel energetic or prefer to relax, we are here to help you make the most of your holiday.
In peaceful Polperro itself, 800 years of history provides plenty to see, all unchanged and unspoilt. The cliffs on either side of Polperro offer uninterrupted miles of coastal walks meandering through secluded coves, beaches and steep promontories for the fit and energetic. Swimming, fishing, golfing and riding facilities are all available close by.
While Polperro is a small village it boasts a great selection of pubs, restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlours, pasty shops, gift shops, antique shops, art shops and exhibitions, craft shops, jewellery shops, a fish and chip shop, a fish stall that serves fresh and cooked fish and shell fish. Polperro also has an annual Arts and Music Festival and an annual Beer Festival. New Year in Polperro is extremely popular and most people are in fancy dress.
Cornwall offers a huge range of attractions and activities for all ages and tastes. Theme parks, historic towns, and houses, quaint villages, rivers and estuaries, rugged cliffs and sandy beaches, to mention but a few and are all within easy reach for a day out and make Polperro an ideal base from which to explore Cornwall.
